Hello, my name is Hannes Bäuerle. I'd like to welcome you here to the room rehearsal. A company that was founded by my partner Joachim Stumpp and myself 16 years ago.

I myself am in the wonderful situation of studying mechanical engineering and interior design that I have been able to deal with the wonderful subject matter of materials on a daily basis here for over 16 years now.

We have now put together what is probably by far the most extensive exhibition of materials here and I would like to take you on the course today, give you an insight into our work, introduce you to the topic of healthy materials in a very concrete way using material examples.

Starting with a wide variety of raw materials, starting materials, semi-finished products, from which raw materials are ultimately made of the materials. What makes up healthy materials? What are the different categories that we are curating and compiling here as part of a new special show that is currently being created, and accordingly in the exhibition that you can see here?

We are constantly trying to offer assortments in the huge, fascinating variety of materials that are now on the market in order to make access easy, to show inspiration and to communicate innovations. It ranges from finishing products, from classic wood-based panels, completely traditional materials, interior finishing products to façade structures, insulation systems and if you want to go a bit further, from the semi-finished products to the cycle again, where do the various materials end and what ultimately makes a healthy material a healthy material.
