In the case of healthy materials, the material class wood comes very, very quickly under the categorization of material classes and materials. The fact that wood is one of the typical healthy materials is certainly due, on the one hand, to the wide variety of wood materials that are used today. The natural appearance that wood brings with it is a typical renewable building material.

What has been observed in recent months and years is that modern timber construction is literally jumping in height, if you just follow from the first wooden high-rise building in Vorarlberg, we are approaching the hundred-meter mark of timber buildings. Completely unthinkable a few years ago, this natural building material, this beautiful, healthy material, shows what can be built and finally become realizable with it. On closer inspection, the material as such has a lot to do with it.

That once wood materials are developed, it is not the solid wood that is used directly, but that wood materials are produced from these woods, which now not only make the buildings grow in height, but also make it possible to build and work with them highly efficiently. A development that, on a small scale, perhaps gives a small idea of the dimensions in which wood-based materials now exist on the market.

If you now imagine, this small-scale plate is 18 meters long in its original size. As a result, they can produce and build very quickly and efficiently with the same XXXL plate formats. The whole thing is then glued together in combination, you can work prefabricated with these wooden elements, similar to what you know in principle from precast concrete construction.

If modern architecture can be raised here with wood-based materials, production cycles can be extremely reduced in this way. And in the end, they also implement the topic of premanufacturing under ideal workshop conditions in terms of health very, very well.
