General terms and conditions for on-site seminars by hej.build

1. Scope

These terms and conditions apply to all paid on-site seminars by hej.build. By registering, you accept these terms and conditions.

2. Registration and conclusion of the contract

• Registration is completed via the contact form on our website.
• After receiving your registration, you will receive a confirmation of registration and an invoice via email.
• The contract is concluded upon the delivery of our confirmation of registration.

3. Schedule and execution

• Our seminars are conducted as on-site events.
• A digital kick-off meeting with all participants is held in advance.
• The minimum number of participants is 10.
• If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the seminar.

4. Payment terms

• The seminar fee must be transferred within 14 days of invoicing.
• Participation in the seminar is only possible with full payment prior to the seminar start.
• All prices are subject to statutory VAT.

5. Cancellation and changes

• Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to office@hej.build.
• Up to 14 days before the seminar: no cancellation fee
• 7–13 days before the seminar: 50% of the participation fee
• From 6 days before the seminar: 100% of the participation fee
• The nomination of a substitute participant is free of charge (please provide name, email, and phone number).
• If the seminar is canceled by hej.build, you will receive a full refund of the participation fee.

6. Materials and copyright

• You will receive digital seminar materials.
• All rights to the materials remain with hej.build.
• Audio and video recordings during the seminar are not permitted.
• Legal action may be taken in case of non-compliance.

7. Photo and video recordings

• Photos and videos may be taken during the seminars.
• You can object to the publication of your recordings.
• Objections can be made at any time and will apply to future publications.

8. Liability

• We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence.
• In cases of slight negligence, we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations.
• Liability is limited to foreseeable damages, up to a maximum of the participation fee.
• These limitations do not apply to injury to life, body, or health.

9. Data protection

• We use your data solely for seminar organization, invoicing, and informing you about new offers.
• Your data will not be shared with third parties.
• You have the right to revoke consent for data usage at any time.

10. Final provisions

• If individual provisions are deemed invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective.
• German law applies.
• The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of hej.build.
