General conditions for participation in competitions

Organizers of competitions at www.hej.build and the associated LinkedIn page linkedin.com/company/hejbuild and Instagram page instagram.com/hejbuild is hej.build GmbH, registered office: Mathildenstr. 15a, 45130 Essen (hereinafter: hej.build). The following also applies to competitions via the Facebook and Instagram pages: The competition is not connected to Facebook or Instagram and is in no way sponsored, supported or organized by Facebook or Instagram.

Participation in hej.build competitions is subject to the present conditions of participation and competition rules for individual competitions, in which the process and period of the competition, the prizes, and the identification and announcement of the winners are determined. Material prizes cannot be paid out in cash and are excluded from exchange. By participating in the competition, participants accept the conditions of participation and the competition rules.

Participation in hej.build competitions is free of charge and is not linked to the purchase of goods or services from hej.build. The winners will be notified by hej.build via email (via the message function for competitions on Facebook and via the message function for competitions on Instagram).
All persons aged 18 and over residing in the Federal Republic of Germany, Austria or Switzerland are eligible to participate. Participation of children or young people is only permitted if their legal guardians agree to participate in the competition before participation; in the event of a win, the prize will be distributed to the legal guardians. Employees of hej.build and relatives of relevant employees are excluded from participation. Each participant may only take part in a single competition once.

A violation of the conditions of participation, including the game rules for the relevant competition, entitles hej.build to exclude the respective participant from participation. This applies in particular if a participant provides false information when registering for the competition or tries to manipulate the course of the game or the conditions for receiving a prize (e.g. by manipulating software). If the excluded participant is a winner, the prize can be withdrawn retrospectively. The claim to the prize also expires if the prize cannot be transmitted within six weeks of the first notification of the prize for reasons relating to the winner; in this case, a substitute winner will be determined. Participants agree not to share any illegal content.

hej.build reserves the right to end the competition prematurely or in part at any time, even without notice, if it is not possible to ensure the proper execution of the competition due to technical (e.g. computer virus, manipulation of or errors in software/hardware) or legal reasons. hej.build collects, processes and uses the personal data provided by participants when participating in the competition (e.g. name, address, email address) to carry out the competition, in particular for the purpose of notifying the winners.

hej.build reserves the right to share the winner's data with third parties should it be necessary to deliver and redeem the prize. The participants agree to the use of their data for this purpose.
