What have you discovered for yourself recently?

For a long time I shied away from going to the gym. But once I’d got over it and found the right gym, I discovered regular training for myself after all. Less for the physical workout itself, more to balance out the mental overload.

What was your life like before hej.build?

I’ll certainly be able to answer that better in a few weeks and months, but going by my first impression of how the team is organised: less structured. ;)

How do you stay up to date?

For world affairs, SPON (Spiegel Online) is my first port of call morning and evening. For trends, I regularly scan Instagram and the like. Otherwise my »TV« is almost exclusively YouTube. That’s where I get all the information about things I neither know nor can do. Or where I dream of a second career as a tradesman.

Who would you like to swap places with for a day?

My dog. Sleeping, eating, playing, getting scratched … Nobody can tell me that couldn’t be the perfect life. Besides, I’d love to know what he dreams about when he’s lying twitching on the floor.

What is your favourite building and why?

I don’t have that one specific building. For me it’s always the interplay of style, surroundings and function that can win me over. I can like plain just as much as pompous, as long as it serves a sensible purpose.

Which topic is keeping you busy right now?

Tell us briefly which building products it’s about and what you want to achieve. We’ll get back to you with an initial assessment. We often start with our »Day One« workshop: a day at your premises, where marketing, sales and senior management set priorities together.
