What have you discovered for yourself recently?

Hiking. Especially in Bavaria or when I’m travelling. It’s most fun in company, because that’s always when the best conversations happen.

What was your life like before hej.build?

I’ve been studying for two and a half years, and for two of them I also worked as a working student in marketing. I spent the last six months on a semester abroad in Barcelona.

How do you stay up to date?

How could it be any different: through every social channel going. But I also like to read. At the moment I’m reading »The Architecture of Happiness« by Alain de Botton, which I bought in Hamburg during our offsite.

On top of that there’s my student subscription to AD and my highlight of the year: visiting the Salone del Mobile.

Who would you like to swap places with for a day?

Tough question, but I’ll choose my favourite interior designer, Dani Klaric. She set up on her own with interior design and social media, opened her own vintage shop in L.A. and designs furniture, wallpaper, cushions and rugs on the side. And she has two sweet dogs, a dachshund and a goldendoodle; I’d happily borrow them for the day too.

What is your favourite building and why?

Richard Neutra’s Kaufmann Desert House in Palm Springs. Simply my absolute dream home. I love how every part of it has its own connection to the surroundings: mountains, sun, wind.

Which topic is keeping you busy right now?

Tell us briefly which building products it’s about and what you want to achieve. We’ll get back to you with an initial assessment. We often start with our »Day One« workshop: a day at your premises, where marketing, sales and senior management set priorities together.
