What have you discovered for yourself recently?

That the »Eat that frog« method works pretty well. I try to get the »most unpleasant« tasks of the day done first, and afterwards I somehow feel freer and more focused. Life hack: if you’re still stuck with the »annoying« tasks at the end of the day, you should think about putting »changing jobs« on your frog list.

What was your life like before hej.build?

Similarly entrepreneurial and remote: before hej.build I built up an agency for design & code and, as a »side job«, was a student. Is 24 university semesters actually a long time?

How do you stay up to date?

I regularly listen to podcasts like »Die Lage der Nation« or »FOMO« and, very importantly, I also regularly read the headlines on SPON (Spiegel Online). I’m also a YouTube junkie and watch countless videos and tutorials.

Who would you like to swap places with for a day?

Bradley Cooper in the film »Limitless«. Somehow I imagine it would be productive to have access to your brain’s full capacity.

What is your favourite building and why?

There isn’t one favourite building that excites me. Instead, I find it interesting how buildings shape a city and how that influences the people who live there. One example is Copenhagen, where aesthetic building isn’t just for company headquarters but is used in everyday housing too. One of my absolute favourite cities.

Which topic is keeping you busy right now?

Tell us briefly which building products it’s about and what you want to achieve. We’ll get back to you with an initial assessment. We often start with our »Day One« workshop: a day at your premises, where marketing, sales and senior management set priorities together.
