Christiane Will from our Architecture Advisory Board

Christiane Will is an architect and Managing Director of MÄCKLER ARCHITEKTEN and CHM BAUMANAGEMENT. Her field is technical design and detailing, and she especially enjoys working on museums. On the board, she brings the perspective of construction, along with the question of how modular and serial construction can keep its quality and individuality.

What convinced you to join the hej.build Architecture Advisory Board?

I got to know the team at a hej.build event. Its openness and fresh, innovative manner won me over. Helping to shape the future and being in regular exchange with industry and business motivates me personally a great deal and can have positive effects for everyone involved.

What is most on your mind at the moment in architecture, interior architecture or building products?

At the moment, we are seeing more and more of a shift towards modular and serial construction. Designing this sustainably, efficiently and with a certain standard of quality, so that a building’s individuality isn’t lost, will carry more weight in the future.

What does good architecture/interior architecture mean to you?

Sustainability, efficiency and beauty, united.

Is there a current highlight or an all-time favourite project?

Building museums is always a great joy. They are always extremely individual, and there are almost no limits to how far the detailing can go.
