What convinced you to join the hej.build Architecture Advisory Board?
My growing frustration after visiting trade fairs prompted me to get involved in the Architecture Advisory Board. I want to share my experience from architecture trips and product research, in the hope of positively influencing the future design of trade fairs and manufacturers’ communication.
What is most on your mind at the moment in architecture, interior architecture or building products?
My focus is on practicality in an aesthetic package and consistently thought-through environmental friendliness.
What does good architecture/interior architecture mean to you?
Good (interior) architecture adapts to the specific needs of its use, respects its surroundings and brings a certain tension with it. A good exterior or interior space always evokes positive emotions in people.
Is there a current highlight or an all-time favourite project?
In Berlin, I’m thrilled by Tegel Airport; in Europe, London’s Barbican Complex; in the world: Black Rock City in Nevada and Angkor Wat in Asia.
