What convinced you to become part of the hej.build architecture advisory board?
My growing frustration after visiting trade fairs motivated me to get involved in the advisory board. I want to share my experiences from architectural travels and product research – in the hope of positively influencing the future design of trade fairs and manufacturer communication.
What is currently on your mind regarding architecture, interior design, or building products?
Aesthetically packaged practicality and consistently well-thought-out environmental friendliness are my main focus.
In a few words, what defines good architecture/interior design for you?
Good (interior) architecture adapts to specific user needs, respects its surroundings, and carries a certain tension. A well-designed exterior or interior space always evokes positive emotions in people.
Is there a current highlight or an all-time favorite project you’d like to tell us about?
In Berlin, I am fascinated by Tegel Airport; in Europe, the London Barbican Complex; worldwide: Black Rock City in Nevada and Angkor Wat in Asia.
