Niels Weißenberg
What convinced you to become part of the hej.build architectural advisory board?
The personal conversation with Michael, who has always been an important discussion partner for me, and the opportunity to provide very specific feedback to create added value for everyone involved.
What is currently on your mind in terms of architecture, interior design, or building products?
Right now, it’s definitely dealing with the complex market situation, identifying possibilities, opportunities, and risks for project development, and advocating that system-based, high-quality architecture is not a contradiction but rather a solution and a step forward for a range of challenges.
In a few words, what does good architecture/interior design mean to you?
Sustainable, well-designed architecture that is both embraced by users and offers the potential for more than one usage scenario.
Is there a current highlight or an all-time favorite project that you’d like to tell us about?
As a current highlight, I would name the Brainfactory in Bochum, a construction project for Landmarken AG, because it demonstrates the quality that is achievable with system-based architecture.
