What did you discover for yourself recently?
Breathing exercises. It is really amazing what a few minutes of concentration on your own body and the rhythm of your breathing can do during stressful phases.
What did your life look like before hej.build?
Boring, uninspired, slower, less free, aimless, unclear, teamless, but the bottom line is not that bad at all if these attributes have a negative effect on you.
How do you keep yourself up to date?
More specifically: LinkedIn, brand one, omr.com, Greenpeace magazine and through many, many podcasts. But also through inspiring and enlightening conversations within your own network and circle of friends. Last point: Test, test, test — especially when it comes to new tools, technologies and “hypes” to make up your own mind.
Who would you like to swap with for a day?
With my daughter. With today's knowledge and mental clarity, to be able to see the world through children's eyes for another day would certainly be phenomenally enriching. Especially after that one day of exchange.
What is your favorite building and why?
The Pompidou Centre in Paris. A truly radical approach to a museum at the time. Did you know that without this building, there wouldn't be any NIKE Air Max sneakers? And Peter Zumthor's thermal spa in Vals also left a lasting impression on me. Insanely powerful spatial impressions and memories of a slowing down weekend in the snow-covered Valser Valley come together for me.
