Masterclass “Sustainability in Marketing & Sales”
What is it about?
Within a very short period of time, sustainability has become one of the central topics in corporate communication, which poses major challenges for all parties involved with a variety of questions and ambiguities. In our “Sustainability in Marketing & Sales” masterclass, you will learn the most important basics about sustainability communication. The content of our two-day seminar will help you both to overcome your own uncertainties and to place your company's products and attitude with architects and project developers. And that in the vicinity of one of Germany's most successful architecture firms: at HPP architects in Düsseldorf.
The masterclass is suitable for anyone who is looking for answers to the following exemplary questions:
- What are the (knowledge) needs of architects and what are the requirements of future projects?
- How can you build up knowledge about sustainability in your own teams in a structured way?
- Which data & certificates do I have to provide in order to be planned or advertised at all in the future?
The focus of this masterclass is on the integration and exchange of experiences between marketing & sales, as transparent cooperation is essential, especially in the context of sustainability.
Who is our masterclass aimed at?
- Construction product manufacturers from all trades and sectors, such as manufacturers of building materials, elements and materials for construction, outdoor and indoor use, manufacturers of home and building technology, electrical installations, fittings, furniture and lighting, room textiles and acoustics, bathrooms and plumbing.
- marketing: Marketing employees from construction product manufacturers gain important target group insights and practical tips & tricks to get started quickly and avoid greenwashing.
- Key account/sales: The master class enables sales staff to expand their high quality of advice on the subject of sustainability, to be able to make reliable statements and to know the most important project requirements.
- Team leaders: The masterclass enables team leaders to create their own foundations on the topic of sustainability, to apply these as a basis to the team in order to set the course for qualified sustainability communication.
- Sustainability managers: By exchanging ideas with other participants, sustainability managers are enabled to better understand marketing and sales requirements and also to increase target group understanding.
What's the point?
“Getting into action” is our stated goal paired with maximum gain in knowledge combined with a relaxed and open atmosphere. After two intensive seminar days, you will go home with clear recommendations for how to deal with statements and content relating to sustainability when addressing target groups.
The group size, which is limited to 16 people, creates a “safe space”, which enables effective discussions with the entire group as well as individual challenges and questions. You will gain clarity regarding the current and future expectations of the target group and be aware of greenwashing vs. true sustainability. It doesn't matter whether your company is just at the beginning of the sustainability journey or has already achieved the first milestones: The specific recommendations for action, insightful insights from the target group and the valuable exchange with other companies help in every phase of the transformation.
How does it work?
The two-day seminar is just the icing on the cake: In order to best adapt the masterclass to your needs, wishes and questions, we meet at a remote kickoff a few weeks before the appointment to get to know the other participants and get in the mood together.
And then it continues live and in color: On the first day at HPP Architekten, we will be able to enjoy the concentrated expertise of the sustainability team led by Julian Gaviria, Head of Sustainable Transformation at HPP. After a networking dinner at the end of the day, the knowledge for your own work in marketing and sales will be transferred on the second day. In a digital follow-up a few weeks later, we talk about your first experiences that you have gained back in everyday working life and address them individually. They also have access to the Masterclass community and can exclusively participate in our quarterlies, which are 90-minute web sessions on relevant topics.
Benefits at a glance
- Interdisciplinary seminar content: We developed the Masterclass program together with architects, sustainability professionals and experts from marketing and sales. In this way, we ensure a high level of practical relevance for you.
- Understanding target groups: You will receive an overview of the most important project requirements and the needs of the target group in order to be able to communicate and act in a relevant and “on point” way.
- Structured knowledge development: We support the statement “A company is only as good as its employees” and give you practical tips on how your own teams (marketing & sales) can build up knowledge and implement it quickly.
- Growing community: Participants get exclusive access to our teams community — even after the seminar is over. We believe in the power and efficiency of networking & sharing with one another.
- Additional digital appointments: The master class starts with a kick-off to get to know each other before the actual seminar and ends after about four weeks with the exchange of experiences in the final follow-up.
- Digital access to learning materials: We provide all participants in our master class with all scripts and accompanying documents digitally — including further content for self-study.
