What is something new you’ve recently discovered for yourself?
Thanks to the Slack channel »hej-sports«: swimming!
What did your life look like before hej.build?
Before hej.build, I worked at an advertising agency in Düsseldorf and took the leap into freelancing in 2020.
How do you stay up to date?
I keep up with things via Instagram, Pinterest, and podcasts – depending on the topic. I enjoy scrolling through feeds and gathering inspiration, whether for design ideas or exciting projects. Although I have to admit, my screen time is definitely too high…
Who would you like to switch places with for a day?
Ideally, with (my) lazy cat! A day without obligations – just lying around, sleeping, eating, stretching, and soaking up some sun. Sounds perfect.
What is your favorite building and why?
It’s hard to pick a single favorite building, but I’m fascinated by structures that blend history and modernity. Industrial monuments that have been creatively repurposed – like the Dortmunder U, a former brewery now serving as a center for art and creativity – have a special appeal. They show how architecture can transcend time and function while creating space for new possibilities.
