What did you discover for yourself recently?

Beetroot! How could I not like that earthy flavor for years? And before that, I discovered (regional; -)) quinoa for myself. And did you know that the pseudo-cereal is related to beetroot?

What did your life look like before hej.build?

Similarly remote, but unintentionally due to the corona semester during my entire architecture master's degree.

How do you keep yourself up to date?

As part of Gen Z, and therefore as a digital native, mostly via the Internet. But also offline through lively exchanges with inspiring people from my professional and private environment and by visiting exhibitions and other events.

Who would you like to swap with for a day?

With a person who lives in the distant future. To see where humanity stands and how the environment has changed, particularly as a result of the climate crisis and new technologies.

What is your favorite building and why?

I don't have that one favorite building. Buildings that include a well-thought-out and at the same time experimental (daylight) lighting concept make my architect's heart beat faster. I'm also a big fan of honest materiality and architecture that doesn't have to “hide”.
