What have you recently discovered for yourself?

How I can make better use of the concept of non-violent communication - a real game changer for me! It's better to live (and work) when you don't solve conflicts with a wrecking ball, but with a good foundation of understanding and clear communication. In the end, it's always about creating space - whether in architecture or in conversation.

What was your life like before hej.build?

A bit like a shell with potential – a combination of interior architecture, marketing, design, communication, start-up and consulting, but still rough and without a finished finish.

How do you keep yourself up to date?

Reading, observing, asking and learning – all digital and analog. I have been told that my greatest strength is my thirst for knowledge. I like that, because what could be more exciting than discovering new perspectives and constantly broadening your horizons? 🤓

Who would you want to swap places with for a day?

I really enjoy cooking, so perhaps with a top chef in a Michelin-starred restaurant. It would be an exciting experience to experience the dynamics and processes in a professional kitchen at the highest level.

Which is your favorite building and why?

There is so much wonderful architecture and so many exciting spaces that are so good precisely because they have been designed so differently. If I had to choose one, the following would definitely be on the list: the Jewish Museum in Berlin by Daniel Libeskind, the Bauhaus architecture and interior design in Weimar and the Ciudad de las Artes y de las Ciencias in Valencia by Santiago Calatrava.
