What convinced you to become part of the hej.build architectural advisory board?

I met the hej.build team at the annual 3daysofdesign event in Copenhagen. The concept of the architectural advisory board appealed to me from the very beginning. Close interaction with companies and manufacturers is of utmost importance. Only through good collaboration can we create innovations and solutions that sustainably change the construction industry. I look forward to contributing here.

With which thematic focus do you hope to contribute to the hej.build architectural advisory board?

My architectural passion is the union of old and new. I want to discuss how to revalue old materials and how we can design our buildings in a circular manner.

What concerns you most in terms of architecture, interior design, or building products at the moment?

How to effectively scale up the issue of circularity in the construction industry so that we can sustainably and resource-efficiently restructure our built environment.

What does good architecture/interior design mean to you?

Good architecture always provides added value to people, both in urban spaces and interiors. It must be durable, adaptable, and reflect human needs.

Is there a current highlight or an all-time favorite project you would like to tell us about?

Our kindergarten "The Swan" in Gladsaxe is one of our highlights. Here, we demonstrated that the reuse of building materials not only convinces aesthetically and functionally but also tells a wonderful story to children and adults about the value of materials.
