What have you recently discovered for yourself?

Savory nut mixes – caution, I’m speaking from personal experience. Highly addictive! But just the variety on the supermarket shelf makes my heart skip a beat!

What was your life like before hej.build?

In recent years, my architectural focus was more on my own four walls, which, for my taste, was definitely too home-office heavy. Now I’m happy to make my way to our Hamburg office in the mornings, where a four-legged colleague is also waiting for me. 🐕

How do you stay up to date?

Mhmmm, how much should I reveal about my screen time here? 😉 Jokes aside: Instagram is actually my number one platform for industry updates, world news, marketing updates, and the latest fashion highlights. 💖 Otherwise, there’s a good mix of podcasts (Fast&Curious), LinkedIn for links to good marketing topics, the AD on my coffee table (and once a year, the AD100), and my wonderful personal network.

With whom would you like to swap places for a day?

With my brothers! The days couldn’t be more different: My older brother is a self-employed game designer, creating new worlds at his desk – I find that incredibly impressive. My younger brother works as an educator in a forest kindergarten – the balance he finds in nature is enviable.

What is your favorite building and why?

Since I grew up in southern Germany, visits to the Vitra Campus were close by – always worth a trip! There’s no monotony there: each building stands on its own. A few years ago, I also had the chance to visit the Yad Vashem memorial in Jerusalem and was profoundly impressed by how much educational work is reflected in the architecture.
