What convinced you to become part of the hej.build architectural advisory board?
I’m inspired by how professionally hej.build brings together the various professional groups within the architecture and construction industry and fosters exchange. I find that incredibly important and exciting. That’s why I’m happy to contribute my expertise.
What is currently occupying your thoughts the most when it comes to architecture, interior design, or building products?
What concerns me is the low value placed on architecture and design in Germany. In many other countries, building art and design are deeply rooted and enrich life in countless ways. I wish there was greater awareness here as well about the power and influence of our surroundings on us as people, leading to the creation and realization of far more inspiring projects.
What is good architecture/interior design for you – in a few words?
Good architecture and interior design create a unique atmosphere that – whether consciously or unconsciously – leaves a positive and lasting impression on its users.
Do you have a current highlight or an all-time favorite project you’d like to share with us?
The last architectural highlight that truly impressed me was the Opera Park with underground parking in Copenhagen by Cobe Architects. During the tour of the parking garage, with its greenhouse-like stairwell, I was moved to tears. It’s incredible to experience a parking garage with such a special atmosphere!

As an architect and interior designer with many years of experience in both large, renowned, and smaller architectural firms, I have gained deep insights into a wide range of project areas, structures, and a variety of client types over the years. This extensive experience forms the foundation of my current work and allows me to integrate diverse perspectives into architecture.
Since 2021, I have been running my own architectural office in Cologne, focusing on combining architecture and interior design in the field of building within existing structures.
I am happy to contribute this versatile expertise to the architectural advisory board.
